Cheryl LaMastra
Cheryl holds a Master’s in Counseling degree and is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor. She served as Director of an intensive outpatient day program from 2002 to 2006 prior to going into private practice. She has previously co-hosted a national radio talk show and has spoken at several large women’s conferences, as well as numerous psycho-educational workshops. Additionally, Cheryl provides consulting services to various organizations and ministries and has done adjunct teaching at a local college.
Cheryl is a member of the American Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors. She counsels with individuals, couples, families, and groups. Some of the issues she works with are: depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, OCD, sexual abuse, grief and relational issues.
In 2008 Cheryl partnered with Todd Clements, MD, to open The Clements Clinic. As Clinical Director her desire is for each person who comes to the Clinic to be treated with dignity and respect with the goal of receiving the best possible care the clinic has to offer. Cheryl realizes changes can be difficult and sometimes people aren’t sure if they are capable of making the changes that they need to. She likes to reassure those in need or crisis that herself and the team at The Clements Clinic will give them hope and encouragement coupled with professional and credentialed experience that will lead to better relationships and more fulfilled lives.
Cheryl can also be heard on the Gene and Julie Morning Show, on 103.7 Lite FM, every Monday morning, where she helps listeners deal with difficult issues.
