Dr. Clements is a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology.  He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arkansas State University in 1992 with a B.S. in psychology.  He then pursued his master’s degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

Dr. Clements earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas (UAMS).  While there he served as President of his medical school class all four years.  He then completed a Psychiatry residency at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa, where he served as the Chief Resident.

Dr. Clements joined the Paul Meier Clinics in 2004.  While there he developed “Breakaway” an intensive outpatient program for troubled teenagers, he co-hosted “Meier Clinics Live,” a nationally syndicated call-in radio show, and he served as the medical editor of “Community Kids,” a magazine focusing on raising successful children in today’s society.

Dr. Clements joined the staff of the Amen Clinics in Newport Beach, California in 2006, where he trained in brain SPECT imaging.  He returned to North Texas in late 2008 to become Medical Director of the Clements Clinic, which specializes in brain SPECT imaging.

Dr. Clements was chosen by the Consumers’ Research Council of America as one of the country’s top physicians in adolescent psychiatry in 2007 and 2008.  Dr. Clements is the co-author of 2 books, “Blue Genes” and “What I’ve Learned Since I Knew It All.”  His 3rd book “Who’s Crazy Now?” is due out in early 2009.
